ABOUT

Gretchen Pope

I've taught well over 10,000 hours and seen amazing transformations in my clients. I began teaching Pilates in 2010 after completing a comprehensive 950-hour teacher training program through The Pilates Center of Boulder. I taught throughout all 3 (technically 4) of my pregnancies and I have extensive knowledge and experience in prenatal and postpartum Pilates, including healing diastasis recti.

Physical pain is was led me to become a Pilates instructor and I have never looked back. From debilitating back pain (lumbar spondylosis, disc dessication, and degeneration), carpal tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome, scoliosis, ulnar nerve compression, sciatica, numerous bone breaks, joint sprains, dislocations, and rehabilitations, to auto-immune diseases, thyroid conditions and genetic mutations, I have seen a lot, and that's just in myself!

In 2019, I became a certified FSM (Frequency-Specific Microcurrent) Practitioner and shortly after I became a Certified Health and Wellness Coach through ACE.

I grew up in New York, graduated cum laude from Skidmore College, met my California-native husband in Barcelona, and currently live in San Anselmo. I've been living in CA since 2005

Nothing makes me happier than watching people make changes to become healthier, stronger, more balanced, more mobile versions of themselves.
